Jacob Rees-Mogg on May's European Arrest Warrant claims

Theresa May's claims that the UK could become a honey pot for criminals was a 'particularly silly to say", claimed a Tory backbencher.

Jacob Rees-Mogg said powers over who could be arrested in the UK "will be ceded to Brussels" from 1 December, as he spoke against the European Arrest Warrant.

He told Andrew Neil on the Daily Politics: "It's perfectly possible to have efficient extradition without it being a European matter".
