Police and Tory views on European Arrest Warrant powers
European issues are high on the agenda at the Rochester and Strood by-election, and some Tory backbenchers are unhappy with the European Arrest Warrant (EAW).
There will be a vote in the Commons, ahead of the vote in Kent, on whether the UK should continue with the EAW, which is considered essential by the prime minister, the Home Office and the police.
