Ed Miliband insists he can lead Labour to victory
The Labour leader, Ed Miliband, has said he is confident he can lead his party to victory at the next general election.
It comes after some Labour MPs privately told reporters that Mr Miliband should step down.
In a speech at the University of London, Mr Miliband said: "I am willing to put up with whatever is thrown at me in order to fight for you."
