TTIP and NHS: Ken Clarke and Dr Bob Gill on trade deal

There are fears the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) could affect health services in the UK, opening them up to privatisation from foreign firms.

But the deal being negotiated between the United States and the European Union will lower trade barriers and boost jobs and growth, say its supporters.

In a Daily Politics debate, Jo Coburn heard from Dr Bob Gill of the National Health Action Party and Tory MP Ken Clarke, who in government was the minister who oversaw the deal about the competing claims.
