Benefits Street's Dee Kelly on MPs and welfare payments
Westminster politicians describing people on benefits as scroungers was "so insulting", said a woman who found fame in a TV documentary about welfare.
In a personal film for the Daily Politics, Dee Kelly said they were just claiming what the government said they were entitled to.
But Ms Kelly, best known as White Dee from Channel 4's Birmingham-based Benefits Street, added the so-called scroungers were people who have fallen on hard times, and politicians had no idea what it was like to live on benefits.
She will be a guest on Wednesday's Daily Politics around 12:40 GMT and will debate this film with a government and opposition MP, and the full sequence will be on iPlayer for 30 days
