Miliband attacks government's 'broken promises' on tuition fees
Ed Miliband has said Labour would cut university tuition fees in England to £6,000 per year from autumn 2016.
He told an audience in Leeds that a Labour government would pay for the fee cut by reducing tax relief on pensions for those earning over £150,000 per year.
And he said that the government's student fees policy was "one of the most expensive broken promises in the history of British politics".
