Cameron's EU negotiations 'inconsequential' - Lord Lawson

The Former Conservative Chancellor has told the BBC that what David Cameron is likely to achieve in negotiations with the EU is of "no significance at all'.

Speaking to Newsnight's Laura Kuenssberg on the eve of the fortieth anniversary of the 1975 referendum, Lord Lawson said he expects the UK to vote to stay in.

But he added that the British public will to come to regret the decision, as the Prime Minister is unlikely to achieve any "fundamental change".
