Cameron: 'I was misinterpreted' over EU referendum comments
David Cameron has said his comments over whether MPs will be be given a free vote in the EU referendum had been "misinterpreted".
Conservative MPs had reacted angrily after Mr Cameron said he expected ministers to support his position on staying in a reformed EU.
But Mr Cameron said he was referring to cabinet collective responsibility during the renegotiation process and not the campaign and vote itself.
