Corbyn faces resignations over Syria airstrikes opposition

The Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn, is facing the threat of resignations from his shadow cabinet over his opposition to airstrikes in Syria.

Senior figures in the party have reacted angrily to a letter written to Labour MPs saying he does not believe David Cameron has made the case for extending RAF strikes against so-called Islamic State.
