In full: Andrea Leadsom on CV and 'honourable' campaign
Conservative leadership hopeful Andrea Leadsom has defended her CV, saying claims of it being exaggerated were "ridiculous".
In a 12-minute interview with BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg, Mrs Leadsom set out her goal of an optimistic future for the UK outside the EU and said she felt a responsibility to stand for leader after the role she played in the Leave campaign.
Mrs Leadsom said the "plotting" in the Conservative leadership race had been "disappointing" and said she wanted it to be an "honourable" contest.
The interview took place as Conservative MPs vote to choose two from Mrs Leadsom, Michael Gove and Theresa May to go forward to the ballot of all Conservative Party members.
