'May should encourage Trump to support Nato'

Tony Blair's ex-chief of staff Jonathan Powell has said he wants to see Theresa May encourage Donald Trump to support Nato.

Ahead of the prime minister's first meeting with the US president, Mr Powell said it would be a "mistake" to encourage Mr Trump to be isolationist when he was already talking about "America first".
