Lib Dem leadership: Ed Davey on opinion poll rating

Ed Davey is asked about the Lib Dem party polling falling since he became acting party co-leader.

He said it was “difficult and challenging” but cited his “hero” Paddy Ashdown, who had improved the party’s ratings.

The former climate change secretary is up against Layla Moran for the party leadership. The winner will be announced on Thursday.
