Lib Dem leadership: Layla Moran on political experience

Layla Moran said she has “little experience in Parliament” but asked people to look at her track record as an MP when choosing the next leader of the Lib Dems.

She added: “We need to win back the trust of the electorate, show we have learned from the mistakes of the past.”

The former teacher is up against Ed Davey for the party leadership where the winner will be announced on Thursday.
