Prof Van-Tam: 'People will have to learn to manage Covid risks'

Prof Jonathan Van-Tam has warned residents in areas with rising numbers of the Indian Covid variant to think very carefully and weigh up risks.

Again urging people "not to tear the pants out of it", the Deputy Chief Medical Officer for England said "people will have to learn to manage Covid risks for themselves."
