Cummings on Johnson reaction to Covid outbreak in UK
The prime minister thought Covid was “just a scare story” last February, Dominic Cummings has told MPs.
The prime minister’s former chief adviser said Boris Johnson described it as “the new swine flu”.
And he claimed “various officials” in Number 10 thought the PM could be injected with coronavirus on live TV to show it was “nothing to be frightened of”.
