Cummings' apology over UK government response to Covid
The prime minister’s former chief adviser has admitted that "senior advisers like me fell disastrously short" in dealing with the Covid pandemic in the UK.
Dominic Cummings apologised to those who lost relatives, and said: "When the public needed us most, the government failed."
