Boris Johnson on Owen Paterson and regulating MPs' behaviour
The PM is missing Monday's three-hour emergency Commons debate on the standards of MPs' behaviour.
Speaking at a Northumberland hospital, Boris Johnson said the government was going to "make every effort to get this right".
He said he hoped there would be "cross party agreement" on a way forward, including an appeals process for "difficult cases".
