Stephen Barclay on standards and Paterson vote 'mistake'
Cabinet Office Minister Stephen Barclay has expressed "regret" for the government's actions regarding former Tory MP Owen Paterson's conduct, calling last week's vote a "mistake".
The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster was responding in the Parliamentary standards' debate on how the conduct of MPs was investigated.
