Transport secretary asked if Truss best person for the job

The cabinet still has confidence in the prime minister, Anne-Marie Trevelyan has said, adding that Liz Truss is the right person to be leading the Conservative Party.

"She's a prime minister and we continue to support her," the transport secretary told BBC Breakfast.
