SNP: We do not have confidence in Hoyle as Speaker
Stephen Flynn said Lindsay Hoyle “alone” was responsible for the “farce” in the Commons over calls for a Middle East ceasefire.
The SNP Westminster leader asked for advice on a vote on the Speaker’s future chairing the Commons.
Addressing MPs a day after his party’s calls for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza were not put to a vote, he said neither he nor his party had confidence in Mr Hoyle.
