Why some young people are not voting in EU referendum

Thousands of 18-24 year olds are said to be abandoning their attempts to sign-up to vote in the EU referendum by the 7 June deadline through the official government website.

According to an independent group set up to engage young people in politics, it's because they are being asked for their National Insurance numbers, which many can't remember or find.
