Scotland's comic book heroes

Superman may seem like the ultimate American superhero but it seems that he has his roots in Scotland.

New technology means that a growing band of Scottish artists are creating the artwork and stories for some of the world's best known comics, without even leaving home.

The first comic convention in Glasgow in more than a decade is taking place and a new BBC Scotland documentary on Scotland's comic book heroes is due to transmit later this month.
