Scottish independence: Salmond outlines 'four points of real importance'
First Minister Alex Salmond has outlined four "points of real importance" for voters in the Scottish independence referendum.
Mr Salmond was giving a speech to business leaders in Aberdeen, which included a point-by-point deconstruction of Chancellor George Osborne's speech on Scotland's currency.
Mr Osborne said last week that a vote for Scottish independence would mean walking away from the pound, a stance which was backed by Labour and the Liberal Democrats.
Mr Salmond said that intervention had "backfired badly" on the three political parties.
