Darling: Salmond's independence argument is 'nonsensical'
Scotland's First Minister, Alex Salmond, says government ministers in London are 'bullying' the Scottish people over independence with the announcement last week that they will seek to stop an independent Scotland sharing the pound.
He said that could damage business in the rest of the UK.
The former Labour Chancellor, Alistair Darling, who heads the anti-independence 'Better Together' campaign, told the BBC that the difficulties Alex Salmond was pointing out were "entirely of his own making."
