'Fatberg' warning: Don't pour cooking fat down the drain
As we make preparations for the festive feast, householders are being warned not to pour cooking fat down the drain.
Scottish Water footage shows how cooking fat accumulates under Glasgow's streets to create 'fatbergs', lumps of congealed fat, which can block sewage pipes and endanger wildlife if they reach fresh water.
What should you do with this fat? The advice is to let it cool and put it in a closable tub which can be placed in waste disposal.
BBC Scotland's environment correspondent David Miller reports.
