The NFU want something to be done to help dyslexic farmers with the paperwork that comes with the farming business.
The union has launched a dyslexia helpline and is taking its awareness campaign to a parliamentary reception at Holyrood.
Speaking to BBC Scotland, dyslexic Galloway farmer Sandy McCreath says: "I've got a lot of work to do to highlight this to make the powers that be realise that this is something that's not a quick fix."
