Edinburgh to Tweedbank on Borders railway line in minutes

Footage shows a journey along the new railway line between Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders - in less than three minutes.

The journey from Edinburgh's Waverley station to Tweedbank will take about an hour when it opens to the public on 6 September.

This footage was filmed from the rear of a train and speeded up. Eagle-eyed viewers may spot the moment when the camera fell over on departure from Stow station.
