No Crown prosecution for Glasgow bin lorry driver

The driver of the bin lorry that crashed in Glasgow killing six people will not face any charges from the Crown, a fatal accident inquiry has heard.

Solicitor General Lesley Thomson QC told the inquiry the Crown will not bring criminal charges over Harry Clarke's driving or the information he provided to doctors and employers.

A sheriff has asked if any of the families of the victims plan to bring private prosecutions.

BBC News Scotland Correspondent Kevin Keane reports.
