Green energy company Home Energy and Lifestyle Management Limited has been given the largest fine for making nuisance calls.

The firm has been fined £200,000 after a ruling by the Information Commissioner's Office that it deliberately broke marketing call regulations.

The company said it used a reputable third party to provide software for the campaign and said it plans to appeal.

People in Glasgow gave their views on cold calls from companies.
