Sea Kings bid farewell to Scotland in final flypast

The Royal Navy's Sea King helicopters have been marking the end of their search and rescue missions in Scotland with a final flypast.

Helicopters and crew of the Royal Navy's last search and rescue unit based at HMS Gannet left Prestwick on Thursday morning to fly over Glasgow, Garelochhead, Tyndrum, Lochaber, Oban, Inverlochlarig, Stirling, Edinburgh, Ayr, Prestwick and Troon.

The flypast marked the end of 44 years of service.
