Long-lost Nessie monster prop found in Loch Ness

A 30ft (9m) model of the Loch Ness Monster built in 1969 for a Sherlock Holmes movie has been found almost 50 years after it sank in the loch.

A robotic submarine searching the lake for signs of the mythical beast found the long-lost model of the monster after it sank to the bottom of the loch on its first outing.

Kevin Keane reports.
