FM's EU experts ready to advise on pre and post-Brexit talks
A group of experts assembled by the first minister to advise on Scotland's relationship with the EU is to have its first meeting.
The Standing Council on Europe was set up following the UK's vote in favour of Brexit in June's referendum when all areas of Scotland voted to remain with the bloc.
Prof Anton Muscatelli, who chairs the group, told BBC Scotland that the experts will advise the Scottish government in two phases - in the lead up to the invocation of Article 50, which will trigger the UK's exit from the EU, and any negotiations which take place afterwards.
