Covid in Scotland: 'Stay at home as much as you can'
Nicola Sturgeon has urged people in Scotland to stay at home as much as they can in the run-up to Christmas as the "tsunami" of Omicron cases starts to hit.
The first minister issued the plea as she outlined latest figures indicating the Omicron coronavirus variant has now become the dominant strain.
Ms Sturgeon also asked people to try to get vaccinated and boosted before Hogmanay.
