Rare footage of a young Queen Elizabeth II

Candid footage of the young Princess Elizabeth is released along with more than 100 Royal Family pictures taken between 1926 and 1956.

This film was made at photographer Marcus Adams' studio in London, in 1931 when the princess was four-years-old.

It forms part of an exhibition at Edinburgh's Palace of Holyroodhouse which showcases the work of the children's photographer.

Several pieces are from the personal collection of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.
