Redrow's Steve Morgan warns Wales' regulations will create 'no-go' areas
The founder and chairman of the house builders Redrow says proposals for more building regulations on new homes will make it too hard to build new properties in Wales - compared to building in England.
Steve Morgan said the new regulations, which are aimed at making homes more environmentally friendly, could mean an extra £11,000 on the cost of a three-bedroom home by 2015.
Mr Morgan said that this could mean the company has to pull out of building homes in certain areas of Wales all together.
Mr Morgan spoke to BBC Radio Wales, while the director of Construction Skills Wales Wynn Pritchard spoke to Bethan Rhys Roberts.
