Women bishops: MP Chris Bryant critical of vote

The Rhondda MP Chris Bryant says the Church of England needs to start living in the 21st century.

His comments follow the failed vote to ordain women bishops.

A former Anglican vicar before entering politics, the MP said parliament should now consider changes to legislation which would allow women to be treated equally in the Church of England.
