Welsh Country Foods Anglesey abattoir 'can have future'

One of Wales' biggest abattoirs facing closure with the loss of 350 jobs could have a viable future if the right buyer is found, says Anglesey AM Ieuan Wyn Jones.

Welsh Country Foods on Anglesey has started a 90-day consultation after one of its biggest customers, Asda, pulled out.

Mr Jones, the former Plaid Cymru leader, told Peter Johnson on Good Morning Wales it would be a devastating blow if the abattoir closed.
