Tom Price: RSPCA film horse trader's neglected animals
A horse trader from the Vale of Glamorgan has been jailed for animal cruelty after being prosecuted by the RSPCA over the condition of Gypsy Cob ponies he owned.
Price, 48, from Wick, was convicted of 57 animal welfare and cruelty charges by magistrates in Cardiff in June.
The animals were found at five different south Wales locations, including 12 "left to die" in a Bridgend barn.
He was jailed for six months and banned from keeping horses for five years.
RSPCA officials filmed some of the horses owned by Price.
