Food hygiene ratings: View from the deli
A union has warned that food hygiene inspectors could be overwhelmed by the demands of a new law forcing cafes and restaurants in Wales to display their cleanliness ratings.
The voluntary "scores on the doors" system will become compulsory for around 23,000 food outlets in November.
Unison said environmental health inspectors will struggle to keep up with demand for re-inspections from those businesses rated poorly and may have to spend less time on other important work.
The Welsh government said officials were analysing consultation responses.
Paul Martin spoke to Harriet Davies from the New York Deli in Cardiff to see how the current voluntary rating system works.
