Tax vote date 'for Welsh ministers,' David Cameron says
Prime Minister David Cameron said he does not want to be drawn on when the Welsh government might hold a referendum on gaining tax-raising powers for itself.
Announcing the prospect of new financial powers for ministers at Cardiff Bay, he said the role of the coalition government was to provide the legislation that would enable the referendum.
Mr Cameron said he looked forward to campaigning in Wales as a "low tax Conservative".
He and Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg addressed assembly members at the Senedd in Cardiff Bay and answered questions from the media afterwards.
