Diary of a Ysgol Friars maths teacher in Finland

Maths teacher Chris Parry spent a week in Finland to learn more about how the subject is taught there.

His trip came ahead of the global league tables for education which are published next week.

Last time mathematics was measured Wales lagged behind most other countries, coming 40th in maths in 2009, whilst Finland consistently performs well.

This is Mr Parry's diary for the week.
