World War One trench experience for Carmarthenshire pupils

Schoolchildren in Carmarthenshire are being given the chance to experience what life in a World War One trench was like.

But the pupils at schools in the county are not being asked to take a trip to France or Belgium to uncover the stark realities of the Great War.

Instead, a replica trench has been carefully reconstructed at Pendine - an outdoor classroom for students learning about events almost a century ago.
