Wales weather: Shops hit by power cuts in gales

The clear up after the Boxing Day storms continues as engineers attempt to restore power to around 1,000 properties in north Wales.

Many homes and businesses, mostly in Anglesey and Gwynedd, have been cut off since Thursday night.

Aberdaron on the Llyn Peninsula was one of the worst affected areas.

Shop owner John Elfed Williams says he cannot trade without power.
