Storm surge brings flooding fears along Wales' coast

Gale-force winds are expected to add a 1m (3ft) surge on top of one of the highest spring tides since 1997 as Wales braces itself for possible tidal flooding.

Four severe flood warnings are in place -- two in Flintshire, one at Barmouth in Gwynedd, and another in Newport at the Usk Estuary.

Joanne Sherwood from Natural Resources Wales urged people to take care and not to walk or drive through floodwater.

She spoke to Mark Hutchings on Radio Wales.
