Aberystwyth seafront: Waves 'punched holes' in sea wall

Officials in Aberystwyth, in west Wales, are assessing damage to the town's seafront after it was battered by strong winds and high tides on Monday.

The BBC's Arwyn Jones said around 200 people had to stay in temporary accommodation overnight after the area was evacuated.
