Farm land remains under water at Holt near Wrexham

Wales appears to have escaped more severe weather after a warning was issued for Thursday.

The yellow warning, meaning be aware, was in force for south, west and mid Wales until midday.

However, one flood warning remains in place for the Lower Dee Valley, from Llangollen to Trevalyn Meadows.

A huge area of agricultural land at Holt, near Wrexham, remains under water.
