£1m John Piper works on display at National Museum Wales

A collection of works by the artist John Piper, unveiled at the National Museum of Wales on Thursday, has been described as one of the best in the world.

The paintings are mostly landscapes of Snowdonia and were bought from a private collector for nearly £1m.
