Rural crime scheme in Wrexham debated in Commons

The fight against rural crime near Wrexham is expected to be debated at Westminster.

The pilot project, started by neighbourhood watch members in the Esclusham area last year, uses local knowledge to create a digital map which North Wales Police officers carry with them.

Labour MP for Clwyd South Susan Elan Jones will tell the Home Office the scheme deserves national recognition.

Sarah Easedale reports.
