Valleys rail electrification row intensifies

A row over who pays for the electrification of the railway network in the south Wales valleys has intensified.

The Welsh government has insisted the UK government should bear the cost - totalling hundreds of millions of pounds.

But during a visit to Wales, the Chancellor George Osborne said a deal was done two years ago to share the cost.
