Two councils to pilot new bus services in rural areas

Rural Wales is to benefit from a new Welsh government trial aimed at improving access to public transport.

Ceredigion and Vale of Glamorgan councils are receiving £100,000 each for the year-long trial.

It comes as private bus companies around Wales have had to cut some services, especially in rural areas.

Stuart Cole, a professor of transport at the University of South Wales, has spoken to Peter Johnson on BBC Radio Wales about the trial.
